We’re recruiting a Deputy Store Manager to join our Shirley team. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in running the store — driving performance, maintaining high standards, and leading your team by example. This is a hands-on role where you\'ll be active on the shop floor, setting the pace and coaching your team to success.

Responsibilities
  • Act on the shop floor to drive performance, maintain high standards, and coach your team to success
  • Lead by example and develop a strong sense of teamwork
  • Support in driving compliance across stock, health & safety, and processes
  • Be active on the shop floor and set the pace for the team
  • Communicate clearly with the Store Manager to support store objectives
Qualifications
  • Retail management experience in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop medium to large teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record of hitting KPIs
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Experience in FMCG or big box retail is ideal, but not essential
