Job summary
A leading provider of student accommodation is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team in Harrogate. This role includes preparation of monthly management accounts and financial property reports. Ideal candidates will possess good communication skills and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting/finance function.
- Good organizational skills and a methodical approach.
- Proven track record in all areas of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Produce and post Journals.
- Support with posting and reconciling Month End Sales Recharges.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Bank account reconciliations.
Skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Proven experience with spreadsheets
Good communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Purchase ledger experience
Excellent attention to detail
Education
Studying AAT or early stages of ACCA/CIMA/ACA
Good general standard of education
