Qualifications

• Good electrical working knowledge with mechanical experience is essential.
• Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position.
• Thorough understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous running of the production process.
• Eliminate downtime through fault-finding and maintenance of equipment.
• Work on various types of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.

Skills

Electrical working knowledge

Mechanical experience

Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)

Understanding of the IEE 18th edition

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Experience in electrical fault-finding

Excellent communication skills
