A national automotive company is seeking an enthusiastic Service Technician to provide high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs. This role involves using the latest diagnostic technology to identify vehicle issues, and requires an NVQ Level 3 qualification. ProtyreAutocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
Must have: Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
Level 3 Automotive Qualification
Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
Carrying out MOT repairs.
Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality.
Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience with diagnostic equipment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
