We are recruiting for a very experiencedMIG / TIG Fabricator Welderfor a well-established and successful manufacturing company based in Hayes, you will join their sheet metal fabrication team. Only experienced candidates to apply. This is an immediate permanent vacancy.

• Location: Hayes, Middlesex
• Salary: £18.00 – £19.50 per hour (depending on experience) Equivalent £37440.00 to £40560per annum
• Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x basic rate

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG and TIG welding as part of a busy production environment, working to engineering drawings and strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Must have experience in MIG and TIG welding and fabrication.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and production drawings
• Preparing materials for welding, including cleaning and grinding
• Inspecting welds to ensure quality and correct fusion
• Following welding specifications, symbols and critical dimensions
• Completing daily output sheets and first-off inspections
• Maintaining welding equipment, tools and PPE
• Ensuring housekeeping, health and safety standards are met
• Supporting continuous improvement within the department
