Job summary

A values-led charity in Greater Manchester is seeking a Finance Officer to join its Finance Team. This pivotal role involves supporting financial management and ensuring transparency in resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of finance experience and preferably hold an AAT Level 3 qualification. Applicants should possess strong numerical and IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and accounting software. The position offers a permanent contract with a supportive working environment and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a finance role.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or charity sector is an advantage.
  • Experience of maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, monitoring, and review of budgets.
  • Handle day-to-day financial processing including ledgers.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support controls.
  • Provide clear financial information to non-financial colleagues.
