Position: Planned Maintenance Engineer - Nights - Ty’n Llidiart

Salary: Competitive

Summary:

  • Monday to Thursday 18:00 - 06:00

You have the opportunity to work at a world class manufacturing site, with an investment of over £50 million in advanced manufacturing machinery, including Robotic Welders, Automated Fibre Laser Profiling, Vertical Turning Centres, Turret Punching Machines, and CNC Press Brakes.

To be a key driver in delivering Plant Availability by improving and maintaining processes and equipment, which creates a workplace fit for purpose and an operational platform that meets current and future strategic business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working.
  • Follow Safe Systems Of Work.
  • Complete equipment planned maintenance activities on time and in a safe manner.
  • Develop and continuously improve planned maintenance systems and tasks.
  • Work closely with Operational Leadership to identify equipment risks and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to help improve equipment availability.
  • Identify and implement reliability improvements.
  • Liaise professionally with external suppliers, OEMs, and contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues in all areas of the business and highlight issues to management teams.
  • Assist with investigations into reliability improvements.
  • Stay proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting your role.
  • Be self-motivated & conscientious.
  • Be reliable & punctual.
  • Have the ability & drive to root cause & prevent reoccurrence of faults.
  • Be flexible to work at all group sites if required.
