Mechanical Team Lead

Are you a natural leader who thrives on developing people, improving processes and making a visible impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a Mechanical Team Lead role where you'll shape a strong maintenance team, elevate engineering standards, and directly influence machine performance across a major manufacturing operation.

This isn't a tools‑in‑hand position—it's about leadership, planning, coaching and owning the performance of your team. You'll work closely with an experienced Electrical Lead and manage a capable group including mechanics, apprentices and a chargehand. If you enjoy creating structure, driving accountability, and seeing improvements stick, this role is built for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing a mechanical maintenance team
• Driving machine uptime, reliability and maintenance quality
• Owning all planning & scheduling activities
• Coaching, mentoring and building a high‑performance culture
• Elevating safety, hygiene and compliance across your area
• Spearheading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
