Job overview

We are looking for a level 3 qualified practitioner to join our team who is passionate and committed to providing amazing experiences and learning opportunities to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education. we offer above industry standard salary with salary increments. You would start on up to 35 days holiday per year (including Bank holidays).

To provide a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years

To maintain the health and well being of children in our care.

To actively contribute to the monitoring and recording of children's development and the sharing of information with other professionals both internally and externally

Main duties of the job

To adhere to OFSTED Standards & Regulations

To ensure compliance with child protection procedures

To take the lead in the absence of the Room Leader

To take the lead in providing a challenging and providing quality care education

To adhere to nursery and Trust policies and procedures

To maintain the health and safety of the children in our care carrying out risk assessments when required

Qualifications
  • NNEB /BTEC/NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent
  • GCSE English grade C or equivalent in English
Knowledge
  • Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Requirements of the Childcare Act 2009
  • Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and processes
  • Knowledge of Ofsted standards & regulations
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Relevant experience within a childcare setting
Experience
  • Work placement experience within a childcare setting

Disclosure and Barring Checks (DBS)
