South Nottinghamshire Academy is an over-subscribed 11-18 school. In 2016, we moved into our £10 million brand new school and in January 2023, to meet the demand for school places locally, we moved into our new £2.6 million extension. We are located in the village of Radcliffe-on Trent near Nottingham and in May 2022, we again secured a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement in all areas of inspection, with an aspiration to become outstanding at our next inspection. The school is friendly and forward-looking, and determined to build on the high standards we currently achieve.
South Nottinghamshire Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub , delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
