New Horizons Children’s Academy are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 learning support under the guidance of the SENCo, together with supporting the class teacher in teaching and welfare in accordance with pupils’ Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs.
Our SEN Teaching Assistant will play a key role in encouraging positive behaviour, promoting self-esteem, and fostering independent learning to support pupils’ overall development and academic progress.
There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.
This role is initially offered on a fixed term basis until August 2026.
