Job Role: Multi-Site Security Officer

Working Hours: Zero hours

Location: Various sites as required; must be willing to travel up to 60 miles for sites in Doncaster, Barton, Derby and Daventry

Reporting To: Operations Manager/Regional Supervisor

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team as a Multi-Site Officer covering a number of assignments within Derby and surrounding areas. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors, complete patrols, and remain vigilant at all times.

To succeed in this role, you must hold a valid SIA Licence and a valid UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle. Flexibility to cover different sites as required and a proactive approach to site needs are essential.

Duties

• Protect the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites’ Assignment Instructions and site‑specific procedures.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and notifying offenders of policy and procedures.
• Escalate incidents promptly and accurately to the Control Room, Shift Manager, Operations Manager or Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Maintain the organisation’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Act as a first‑line support to customers and visitors, providing professional and friendly service.
• Understand customer needs and respond appropriately to queries and requests, taking suitable action.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.

Requirements

• Full five‑year employment or education history that is verifiable.
• Valid frontline SIA licence (DS or SG).
• Valid UK Driving Licence with vehicle access.
• Experience in customer service and confidence to handle conflict appropriately.
• Flexible to meet job requirements.
• Smart appearance and well‑groomed.
• Reliable and punctual.
• High enthusiasm and passion for the role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
