Rotational Radiographer

37.5 hours per week

As a Radiographer at our hospital,you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.

The Rotational Radiographer will work as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered diagnostic imaging services. The ideal post holder will rotate through key imaging areas —such as General X‑ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, CT, MRI, and Mammography.

They will adhere to professional, legal, and organisational standards while contributing to efficient, safe, and effective delivery of imaging services.

As a Rotational Radiographer you will:

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R, IRR, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines.
• Rotate across imaging areas including: General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscoy and Theatres, CT/MRI and Mammography.
• Adjust imaging techniques to meet the clinical and individual needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS/PACS
• Contribute to out‑of‑hours, weekend, and on‑call rotas as required.

Essential

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• PGC in Mammography
