A prominent dog rescue charity based in the East Midlands is seeking a Volunteering and Community Fundraising Officer. This hybrid role involves engaging with community supporters, promoting fundraising initiatives, and maintaining high-quality relationships to support the organization's mission. Candidates should have experience in community fundraising, strong relationship management skills, and be proactive in their approach. Position: Volunteering and Community Fundraising Officer Salary: £27,000 Per annum Hours: 35hrs per week (with occasional weekend and evening work as and when the role requires) Location: Hybrid – with regular travel to shops and centres within the Nottinghamshire region. Post holders expected to be working flexibly across their community 4 days out of 5, with minimum 1 day per week from our Nottinghamshire Centre.

We are looking for an inspiring, self-motivated and target-driven Fundraising and Volunteering Officer who can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for developing and growing strong relationships with new and current supporters across the Nottinghamshire region, to raise funds and volunteer for Jerry Green Dog Rescue in support of our mission.

We’re looking for someone with some previous experience within either Community, Events or Corporate fundraising, or a similar environment. If you’re a proactive, positive and target-driven individual who wants to develop a career in fundraising, then this could be the role for you.
