Overview

We have an opportunity for an Engineers Assistant working for our busy Bristol office.

Working with a qualified Escalator Engineer, the successful applicant will report directly to the area Supervisor. The successful applicant will be predominantly working within the South West and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• A practical approach, although previous experience is not necessary
• Assisting the engineer with escalator maintenance, callouts and minor repairs
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• A DBS check will be required

Hours and Career Progression

The hours will be 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and the role involves assisting the engineer in all their day-to-day duties as necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a long-term career at a family-owned company with the potential to lead to a rewarding career. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be enrolled on an NVQ3 course to become a qualified engineer and be given a maintenance route in their own right.
