Job summary

A consulting firm in Essex seeks a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their expanding practice. The ideal candidate will hold a MEng/MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering and be a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE. Responsibilities include working on new-build and refurbishment projects up to £20 million, while gaining hands-on experience in a relaxed office environment with a 2-day WFH policy. This position is suitable for recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience.

Overview

Mainstream North Essex consultancy requires a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the small but expanding practice.

Candidates will need to be a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, with a MEng/MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering, combined with a good academic record at school. They will be considered at graduation stage or up to 2 years post-graduation experience. They should have good technical and software skills and be looking for a hands-on Graduate training role.

Projects and Responsibilities

Current workload is a mixture of smaller-practice new-build and refurbishment projects with values up to £20million in the South East in residential, commercial, retail, leisure ad mixed-use sectors.
