Job Description

Primary goals and objectives

  • Work closely with the Ecommerce Controller to deliver our online execution strategy across our top 4 retailers.
  • Drive profitable growth for both JDE and our Top 4 retailers to increase our online share ahead of in-store sales.
  • Plan, develop, and deliver an online Joint Business Plan with our Top 4 retailers.
  • Collaborate with Top 4 retailers to optimize their product listings and online presence.
  • Act as a thought leader in our online value creation story and the delivery of our online grocery roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary contact for our customers, providing expertise in online strategy and execution.
  • Own our online execution plans, ensuring they align with and complement in-store plans.
  • Measure our online media activity to ensure strong ROI.
  • Work with Digital Marketing and agencies (such as Havas) to execute sponsored search campaigns to increase visibility and sales.
  • Own CASA KPIs across Top 4 Accounts to ensure effective online execution.

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

At JDE, we recognize that Ecommerce will continue to be crucial for growth in the UK coffee category. Over the next five years, online sales are expected to become the largest growth driver for both the category and JDE. We have created a new role to help implement our online strategy within our grocery channel. As our Online National Account Manager, you will bring this strategy to life for our Top 4 online retailers and work with our account teams to execute a fully omnichannel approach.

Reporting to the Ecommerce Controller, you will be part of the Ecommerce Team within the wider Sales function and collaborate closely with our Top 4 customer teams to align online and in-store strategies.
