Mileage Reimbursement: 30p per mile (own car required)

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for our service users. You will play a key part in enabling them to lead fulfilling lives while remaining in the comfort of their own homes.

• Personal Care: Assist service users with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
• Medication Support: Assist with administering or prompting medication as per care plans and training.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required, ensuring any dietary needs are met.
• Domestic Support: Provide light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in activities to enhance social interaction.
• Mobility Assistance: Help service users with mobility needs, including transferring, using aids, or moving safely around their homes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in the service user’s condition, and report concerns to the care coordinator or relevant professionals.
• Adherence to Care Plans: Follow individual care plans tailored to the needs and preferences of each service user.
