Role Overview

As a Domiciliary Care Coordinator, you will oversee the scheduling and supervision of care workers, ensuring that each service user receives the right care at the right time. You will also maintain care plans, manage rotas, and ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, safety, and consistency of our care services.

Main Duties
  • Coordinate and manage care worker schedules to ensure full coverage of all client visits.
  • Monitor service quality through regular communication and review visits.
  • Maintain up-to-date care plans and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new care workers as required.
  • Handle client queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety, CQC, and Verity Healthcare standards.
  • Promote teamwork and provide ongoing support and guidance to field staff.
  • Assist with rota planning and ensure care continuity for service users.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Team Leader, or Senior Care Worker in domiciliary care.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of care regulations, best practices, and CQC standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Competence in using electronic rostering or monitoring software (e.g., CarePlanner).
  • Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
