Our client is an award-winning Domiciliary and Home Care Provider seeking Domiciliary Care Assistants - Community care to join their team on a full time or part time basis covering Dorchester, Blandford Forum and Weymouth.

ACCESS TO OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL AS YOU WILL TRANSPORT BETWEEN CUSTOMERS HOMES.

This family-run business aims to support people in their own homes, helping the older generation with care in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Location, Hours and Travel

You will support customers in homes around Dorchester, Blandford Forum and Weymouth. Working hours are 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (whichever works for you) and you must be able to work every other weekend.

Requirements

No prior experience in the social care sector is required as full training will be provided. You will need compassion and empathy, plus the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner and listen to their stories.

Access to your own transport is essential as you will be travelling to different customers daily.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting rate is £12.82 per hour, with potential increases after qualifications and training. Generous mileage allowance is paid at 45p per mile, with visits planned in close proximity to minimise time in the car.
