A local government organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Domestic Assistant to provide support for a dedicated learning disability team. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a welcoming environment, carrying out tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and assisting in food preparation. Hawthorn learning disability team is a dedicated group of professionals who support individuals with a range of learning disabilities to live a fulfilling life. We work in a person-centred way, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment; the team includes senior support workers, support workers, administrative support, domestic and cook. We operate in a warm, inclusive environment where everyone contributes to the wellbeing of people that we support.
As a domestic assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the individuals we support. Duties will include:

Whilst previous experience in a domestic or cleaning role is desirable, it is not essential. Training will be provided. What is important is a good attitude and willingness to contribute to a caring environment.
