We are supporting a growing division of a larger listed UK group in the appointment of a Divisional Finance Director. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role with full ownership of a UK business unit operating across multiple sites.

The role offers significant autonomy and exposure, working closely with an experienced Managing Director and leading the finance agenda for a business focused on revenue growth, margin improvement and commercial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for the division, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management
• Act as a trusted commercial partner to the MD, Sales and Operations leadership
• Lead pricing, margin analysis and contract review to support profitable growth
• Provide clear financial insight to support investment decisions and operational planning
• Oversee financial control, reporting and governance, supported by an established finance team
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and financial discipline
• Support the integration and development of the business within a wider group structure

About You

• 10-15 years’ experience across industry, ideally within a divisional role
• Strong commercial finance capability, with experience influencing pricing, margins and growth initiatives
• Comfortable operating in a B2B services or contract‑led environment
• Hands‑on, pragmatic finance leader with the credibility to operate as a true number two to the MD
• Based within reasonable commuting distance of Milton Keynes and happy with a regular on‑site presence
