We are looking for a passionate and energetic Digital Marketing Executive

Our Digital Marketing Executive will join our team on a 12‑month temp contract at the Head Office in Colchester, supporting our mortgage advisers with digital marketing initiatives such as SEO, social media, and content creation while helping to attract top talent through strategic market campaigns.

Main Purpose of the role

This role will play a key part in supporting our mortgage advisers with digital marketing initiatives while helping to attract top talent through strategic, targeted marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will implement the digital marketing plans to support the Financial Services Division, operating in a busy, demanding environment juggling multiple brands’ workloads, priorities and stakeholders.

Activities/Main Duties
  • Content creation and optimisation for websites, email and other digital channels, including video and social posts.
  • SEO – collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure optimisation that drives organic rankings.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content calendar.
  • Manage and implement social media plans, including innovative social media activity integrated with content plans.
  • Monitor and reply to social messages as appropriate.
  • Set‑up, test, implement and report on activity across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube for key areas of the business.
  • Design and build effective relationships with our in‑house design studio and third‑party content, design and media agencies.
  • Maintain online branding, style and tone of voice across all channels as one of the brand guardians for the FS business.
  • Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the FS (and wider) business.
  • Input into the training teams’ courses on digital marketing excellence, including content and social media excellence.
  • Assist with the reputation management plan to improve the quantity and quality of reviews and responses.
