A leading construction group in the UK is seeking a Design Director for its Building team. The role involves leading the design delivery on major projects, managing the design team, and ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing large construction projects and expertise in digital design technologies. Security clearance is necessary for this position, which also emphasizes diversity and flexibility in the workplace.

We are looking for a Design Director to join our Building team in Cambridgeshire. This role will work as part of the senior team on a major building project whilst leading the design delivery process, line managing the design team and supporting design from pre-construction through to construction and handover phases.
Please note that this role will be subject to Security Clearances, detailed more at the end of this advert.
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
