Job summary

A leading educational provider in Coventry seeks a dedicated Deputy Head Teacher to work with children with special educational needs. You will collaborate with the Head Teacher to create a vision for the school and ensure that pupils leave feeling proud of their achievements. You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs . Alongside the Head Teacher, you’ll set the vision for the future of the school, ensuring we have the right people and plans in place to see that our young people leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you’re really proud of.

Opening in September 2026, Ardenwood School is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art Primary school. The school will cater for up to 40 pupils with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.
