Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice in the beautiful leafy market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and helping to grown the business. This role requires strong leadership skills, a background in management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a professional environment. Experience in business finances and growth is a real advantage.

Please note that this is a fixed-term maternity cover position on a Thursday and Friday (08:30-17:30) with an additional day, or half day, available on a Monday or Wednesday. The starting date is flexible, but expected to be around the end of April/start of May 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the practice adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements within the dental sector;

  • Be involved in ideas for business strategy and growth.
Requirements
  • Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting;
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively;
  • Experience in financial management including budgeting and cost control;
  • Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments;
  • Previous dental experience is advantageous but not essential; relevant healthcare management experience is required;
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with staff, patients, and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and efficiency;
  • GDC registration is a benefit, but not essential.
