Day Care Assistant (Part-time)

Hours: Part-time (25 hours per week)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday shifts (8:30 – 15:30)

Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not‑for‑profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for those in financial difficulty.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high standard of holistic care and support for clients.
  • Ensure clients are at the heart of day care delivery and that their physical, social and wellbeing needs are met.
  • Facilitate a client’s choice, dignity and respect.
  • Keep our clients safe and secure.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with older people is welcomed.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
