Job Description

The role of the Datacenter Team Lead and his/her three direct reports is to manage both Entain and Betmgm’s Datacenters & Comms Rooms, the relationship with 3rd parties, meeting committed timelines and quality standards. Works with senior management to develop an optimized Datacenter strategy and executes the implementation of it within organizational guidelines. Actively ensures that major Datacenter‑related initiatives are handled in a timely fashion without impacting customer experience / ROI. Ensuring budget is planned/spent properly and aligned to the business needs and the strategy of the business.

Ensuring that Datacenter related incidents and changes are delivered against the appropriate SLA’s and service availability is not impacted.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in datacenter operations
• Strong problem solving, understanding of RCA and analytical skills
• Strong technical background; with experience in the following areas: structured cabling systems using CAT6, CAT7, multi‑mode and single‑mode fiber
• Experience working in geographically dispersed teams
• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience
• Experience in managing in high data volume and high security environments
• Driven, robust, self‑motivated, delivery focused and able to withstand 24/7 pressure, and to challenge and be challenged
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong service focus
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to be on‑call
• Willingness to travel regularly
