As a Customer Delivery Driver 7.5T, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of our company when delivering and installing products to customers’ homes. You’ll combine safe driving, excellent customer service and practical installation skills to ensure every delivery is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Full training will be provided, including on our products, installation procedures and health & safety expectations, so you’ll be supported to succeed from day one.
Working hours will include early starts and occasional weekend shifts to meet customer demand. You’ll be part of a local delivery team, reporting to the Delivery Supervisor, and will be expected to help maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the depot and vehicles to ensure a professional service.
We’re looking for a reliable, practical individual with a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll take pride in delivering excellent customer service, communicating clearly and courteously with customers at their homes, and treating their property and possessions with respect. The role requires physical fitness for handling and moving mattresses and other products, attention to detail when following delivery paperwork and the ability to work to scheduled routes and times.
Experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle is desirable and a valid UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement is essential. You should be comfortable carrying out basic installations and assembling furniture where required, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in home delivery, removals, or furniture installation is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Safely drive a 7.5T vehicle to deliver goods to customers’ homes following planned routes
Unload, carry and install products, ensuring they are positioned to customer satisfaction
Adhere to vehicle and depot maintenance, keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any issues promptly
Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times and resolve basic customer queries on site
Comply with company health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support depot operations when required
Valid UK driving licence with entitlement for 7.5T vehicles (or willingness to obtain where applicable)
Proven ability to carry out physically demanding work, including lifting and maneuvering bulky items
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Basic DIY/assembly skills or willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and able to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
