A reputable healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking individuals for the Critical Care Support role. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients after surgery and during recovery. Responsibilities include supporting registered nurses, managing equipment, and ensuring cleanliness in the ward. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and GCSEs in English and Maths. This role offers pathways for training and development in a supportive workplace.

Our purpose built Critical Care Units have state of the art equipment: Ward 21 Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit based at the Freeman Hospital is a 16 bedded ITU and 6 bedded HDU. We care for patients following heart and lung transplantation, routine and emergency cardiothoracic surgery and patients following cardiology procedures.

This role incorporates equipment maintenance, monitoring and ordering of department stock items, assisting registered nurses with the provision of patient care, assistance in administration and clerical duties.
