A leading educational institution in Aberdeen City is seeking a proactive administrator to support academic staff in developing training and education programs. The role requires excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage a diverse workload efficiently. The candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional experience with Event Management Systems would be advantageous. This is a part-time position at 60% of full-time for 12 months, with a salary based on qualifications.
A proactive administrator is required to support the work of academic-related staff as they develop work-related training and education, continuing professional development and other commercial activities.You will have a flexible and team-orientated approach, underpinned by the judgement to prioritise a diverse workload with often competing demands. You should possess excellent computer skills, with experience using the Microsoft Office package. Experience of an Event Management System and / or financial systems would be an advantage. You will be organised to provide efficient administrative support, dealing with a wide range of internal and external customers which will be supported by excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of the importance of detail. You will have a wide range of responsibilities to deliver effective support to ensure the smooth-running of a busy office.
The post holder will be responsible to the CPD Manager but will take direction from other Business Development Officers and the Director or Research and Innovation.
This post is available on a 60% of full-time basis for a period of 12 months.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 4, 60% of £27,319 - £31,236 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
