We’re looking for a talented Corporate Finance Manager or a first-time Associate Director to join our M&A Lead Advisory team who thrives in a collaborative environment and embraces the chance to make a personal impact for clients acting on complex transactions. At MHA, you’ll be surrounded by passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. Your work as a manager will go beyond the numbers – it’s about building meaningful client relationships, understanding their businesses, navigating risks, and delivering insights that drive real results. Key aspects of the role involve:

  • Collaborating with the team to lead cross-border corporate finance engagements, including buy- and sell-side M&A, management buyouts, and equity and debt fundraising.
  • Establishing strong relationships with clients, investors, and prospective purchasers, acting as their key point of contact to lead processes.
  • Identifying new client opportunities, contributing to pitches and proposals, and helping to grow the profile of the firm’s corporate finance offering in the market.
  • Bringing to bear your existing knowledge of, and passion for, M&A processes, to deliver high-quality advice to clients.
  • Enhancing your existing network of professional advisors and investors.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and fostering their professional development.
  • Playing an important role in shaping the direction of the advisory team, improving processes, driving efficiency, and enhancing our relationships across the Baker Tilly network.
What We’re Looking For

Formal accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA) with preference for at least 3-years’ post-qualification Corporate Finance experience, and excited about bringing your skills and experience to a new team to progress your career.

  • Proven ability to prioritise time and deliverables across client projects.
  • Strong financial and commercial analysis capabilities, with experience of guiding preparation of financial models and an understanding of valuation methodologies.
  • Proficient within Microsoft applications, specifically Excel (able to present financial analysis in an easy-to-follow manner).
