Qualifications

  • Preferably apprentice trained in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Candidates must provide relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Assist in implementing electrical maintenance systems.
  • Provide breakdown service to minimize downtime.

Skills

Ability to read electrical drawings
Sound knowledge of Siemens PLC’s – S7 TIA portal
Excellent analytical & fault finding / problem solving skills
Good knowledge of electric motors / pneumatics
Experience working within a multi skilled team with good communication skills

Education

Minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline
ONC/BTEC – HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical engineering
18th edition qualified
