Job summary

A technology recruitment agency is seeking an experienced SDET / Software Developer in Test for a hands-on role on a 3-month contract in Belfast. Job description

MCS Group is looking for an experienced SDET / Software Developer in Test to join a delivery-focused team on an initial 3-month contract. The role is hands-on and suited to someone with a strong Java background and a passion for test automation and quality engineering.

The Details:

• Strong hands-on Java experience (automation-focused) is essential.
• Cucumber or Gherkin experience is also required, and is experience of working according to TDD (Test-Driven Development)
• Additional experience with Playwright or Rest Assured framework experience is nice to have but is not essential.
• You will be working closely with developers and QA to design, build, and maintain automated test solutions in a modern engineering environment.
• You will have the opportunity to gain exposure in a forward-thinking technology company delivering platforms in a complex, data-driven domain.
• Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in Belfast

Assignment Rate: £450 - £500 per day
IR35: Inside
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
