A healthcare institution in the UK seeks a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Radiology. This role involves collaboration with multiple healthcare professionals, providing services in breast imaging and general radiology, and participating in cancer services and audits. Candidates should have relevant medical qualifications and expertise in breast imaging. The position offers innovative reporting opportunities and contributes to digital transformation efforts.
This post is for a General Cross‑sectional Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Radiology to complement the department. The appropriate clinical skills and knowledge will be expected.
CT reporting is outsourced overnight 7 days a week (8pm – 8am weekdays and 5pm – 9am weekends/bank holidays). Radiology doctors have the facility to undertake home reporting with dedicated AGFA workstations and VR dictation facilities provided for all current and future Radiologists. The timetable of radiologist commitments is regularly reviewed and adjusted to meet the changing needs of the Trust, the service and staff. A timetable will be allocated according to the appointee’s skillset and the needs of the department.

We are currently building a new state‑of‑the‑art hospital and undertaking a major digital transformation with a new electronic patient record (EPR) that will replace paper records from 2026, leading to safer, joined‑up care across The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
