Priory Lifeworks is looking to recruit a Eating Disorder - Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team as a Private Practice "Visiting Consultant".

This is a sessional, self employed opportunity for a Consultant to develop their own Private Practice with Priory, as such successful candidates operate with a high level of autonomy, we are happy to discuss your availability to Practice with you. Life Works is a trusted and welcoming private rehab centre in Woking, Surrey, specialising in addiction recovery and eating disorder treatment.

Our expert team - including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, mental health nurses and dietitians - work together closely to provide personalised, evidence-based care. We’re here to make sure every client gets the right support from the right specialist, following the highest standards of treatment.

What you\'ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. The appointed consultant must have a minimum of 2 years experience at Consultant level, hold and maintain registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), including inclusion on the relevant Specialist Register. Evidence of this registration must be available and presented to the Hospital Director or Group Medical Officer upon request.
