Qualifications

  • Registered professional with current GMC registration.
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of gaining CCT.
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Knowledge and evidence of participation in CPD.
  • Evidence of effective multidisciplinary team involvement.
  • Possess leadership skills and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric input to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Liaise with and advise inpatient mental health services.
  • Work closely with Local Authority and ICS partners.
