  • Undertake the production of Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and assist with biodiversity strategies and other documents.
  • Undertake and assist with licence applications, including developing mitigation and monitoring.
  • Undertake/supervise mitigation and monitoring of licensed work and assist with liaison with statutory authorities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in writing PEAs and contributing to ecological reports such as scoping and baseline sections of EIAs and biodiversity net gain reports.
  • Understanding of and application of environmental legislation, policy and guidance.
  • Ability to identify taxa/species associated with recognised broad habitat types using keys and field guides.
  • Ability to undertake extended Phase 1 habitat surveys.
  • Ideally hold a survey licence for one or more species.
