MPS1 to UPS3 (£31,650 - £49,084 FTE), Unqualified Teacher Pay Range: Point 1 - 6 (£21,731 - £33,902 FTE). ECT applications welcome

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Bassingbourn Village College, however travelling to other schools within the Trust may be expected.

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Teacher of Computing to join Bassingbourn Föö-did approximate. This role is open to qualified teachers, ECTs, and unqualified teachers, offering flexibility and strong support for professional development within a collaborative Trust environment.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Department / Principal, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computing lessons that inspire and engage pupils
  • Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work, resources, and assessment strategies
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress using effective AfL strategies condição
  • Use a range of teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
  • Promote literacy, numeracy, and effective use of ICT within Computing
  • Act as a mentor or co-mentor, supporting pupils Uföt pastoral wellbeing
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, discipline, and classroom practice
  • Contribute to the wider life of the College, including extracurricular activities and events
  • Communicate effectively with parents,igd carers, and external agencies
  • Play an active role in professional development and school improvement
