Overview

Make your mark at Boskalis Subsea Services as a Competence & Training Coordinator based in Aberdeen. As a C&T Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring Training, Certification & Competence requirements for all personnel are managed. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, busy and effective team who interact with, and provide support to, all areas of the business both on and offshore. Additionally, you can be involved and participate in Industry C&T workgroup forums and have the opportunity to develop your skills and build relationships with other subject matter experts in the C&T field.

This role requires a pro-active attitude and the ability to adapt to varying workflow volumes. A certain level of autonomy and strong communication skills are required as the teams supported by this role are at various locations globally at both On and Offshore worksites

Responsibilities
  • Supports C&T department in maintaining compliance to requirements through effective system monitoring;
  • Monitor, record and report Competency requirements via the Company Competence Management System (Onboard Tracker) liaising with candidates and assessors to address Competency needs;
  • Monitor, record and report Training & Certification requirements via the Company Training Management System (Onboard Tracker) liaising with external Training Management Services provider to address training needs;
  • Ensure Company E Learning Program(s) requirements are coordinated effectively via the Company Learning Management System (Trainingportal);
  • Ensure that all onshore and offshore personnel training is identified, planned and maintained in compliance with Legislation, Industry, Company & Client requirements;
  • Prepare project personnel documentation packs for client review;
  • Coordinate the Offshore Performance Appraisals process;
  • Coordinate Offshore personnel Inductions and Familiarisations;
  • Monitor the C&T shared mailbox actioning correspondence and responding to personnel in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in the role of C&T Coordinator or similar equivalent capacity in Crewing/HR
  • Experience working within the Subsea Sector of the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Working knowledge of Training and Competence Management Systems and Processes
  • Knowledge and experience of Oil and gas industry training standards and certification
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks and objectives to a high level in a fast paced and changing environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to show flexibility during busy periods
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, Word and Outlook
