Community Support Worker at INSTANTiMMO

Join to apply for the Community Support Worker role. We work through the Together Trust to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion for individuals with complex needs in the Brinnington, Stockport area.

Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some evening and weekend work is also required on a rota.

Salary: £21,406.67 plus enhanced pay for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate. Full‑time equivalent salary for 37.5 hours: £24,700.00 (Real Living Wage £12.67 per hour).

Location: Berwick Day Service, Brinnington, Stockport – a Together Trust Service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide extensive care and specialist positive behaviour support to individuals with learning difficulties, Autism spectrum conditions, mobility, communication, health and social care needs.
  • Help individuals develop and maintain independence, choice and fulfilment in a caring, supportive environment.
  • Work independently on shift using initiative, while collaborating effectively with team members and maintaining open, honest communication.
  • Uphold appropriate boundaries and approach challenging behaviour with a consistent, caring approach.
  • Support individuals in a day service setting under the leadership of the Team Leader, delivering care, love and support that feels like family.
