About the Role

You will be part of the Communications team, sitting as part of a wider People function. As part of this role, you will have exposure to both internal and external communications, developing materials that tell the story of CMR & Versius, as well as creating internal stories and managing internal channels to ensure employees stay fully informed.

This is a great opportunity to get exposure to a wide range of internal and external communications activities in one of the UK’s most exciting scale‑up businesses in the surgical robotics space.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and updating internal communications channels, including the intranet and Teams to ensure employees have up to date and accurate information
  • Developing internal communications materials that provide timely updates to employees including internal articles and stories
  • Developing external communications materials including social media posts, and thought leadership articles from surgeons
  • Support with organising employee events
  • Developing materials that help to ensure all CMR new joiners understand CMR’s mission and products

We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Communications remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.

About You

You will be a natural communicator and have the following traits and experience:

  • A desire to continue to build a career in communications
  • Excellent writing, project management, planning, and multi‑channel communications experience
  • Excellent inter‑personal skills with the ability to build good relationships across businesses, functions and geographies
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage and work to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of internal and external social media and the latest channels/platforms and how social media can be used to enhance engagement, collaboration and advocacy
  • Proactive with high levels of self‑motivation and personal accountability, bringing enthusiasm to team
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
