Job summary

A leading Environmental Health & Safety technology firm is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner in Manchester. You will be the key link between Finance and commercial teams, driving pricing strategies and profitability in a fast-growing SaaS environment. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with experience in commercial finance or business partnering. Qualifications

  • Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering required.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills needed.
  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, or recurring revenue environments preferred.

Location: Manchester, Northern Quarter (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home)

We’re growing fast and looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner (FP&A / SaaS) to become the key link between Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product. You’ll drive pricing, profitability, and strategic decision-making in a recurring-revenue business model.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive performance and ROI.
  • Analyse pricing, product profitability, and deal economics to support commercial decisions.
  • Evaluate marketing ROI, funnel performance, and customer acquisition cost.
  • Build business cases and financial models for growth and investment opportunities.
  • Track customer lifetime value (CLV) and identify upsell or renewal opportunities.
  • Deliver board-ready insights that directly influence EBITDA performance.
What We’re Looking For
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering
  • Strong analytical and Excel / modelling skills
  • Confident communicator who can influence commercial teams
  • Background in SaaS, B2B, or recurring revenue environments is preferred but not essential – we welcome candidates from professional services, tech, telco, or other data-driven sectors.
