A leading payments company based in Manchester is seeking a Collections Advisor to join their Revenue Operations team. The role involves managing customer arrears efficiently through various communication methods and ensuring empathy towards customers. Candidates should have experience in collections or credit control, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Collections Advisor to join our ever‑evolving Revenue Operations team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
Recovering customer arrears via telephone, written communications and/or any other digital methods introduced into the department / function
Acting as a first point of contact for customers with outstanding arrears
Reinstating of Direct debits to adhere to our One Call Resolution aim
Showing empathy to vulnerable customers
Negotiating & setting up repayment arrangements
Adhering to the rules and guidelines as set out by the company and its regulators (FCA / ICO/ FLA)
Adhere to KPI's set by the business
We would like to hear from you if you have experience working in Collections (Late or Early Arrears) as a Collections Agent, Collections Advisor, Credit Controller or similar
Strong customer service & communication skills with the ability to empathise with people
The ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment
Experienced working within a regulated organisation background
Polite telephone manner
Strong IT skills to navigate multiple platforms
Experience of working with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience working with corporate customers
Understanding of Direct Debits
Understanding around the BACS rules
Good understanding of Complaint Resolution
Our Collections teams support our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance.
