ROLE

As the Team Leader you will report to the Departmental Manager Your main priority is to support the organisation of your department with materials, people and machinery.

  • Lead your team with working the work area to meet daily production to meet daily output targets.
  • Highlight risk and demonstrate capability to mitigate risk in relation to daily targets.
  • Drive to achieve site objectives.
  • The role will require a split of 70% production time and 30% Leadership
  • Innovation and continuous improvement champion of the area
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
  • Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity
  • Work closely with the Manager to agree and set and achieve daily/weekly production targets within area of responsibility for the team
  • Assist the manager with cellular level planning by communicating capacity constraints and barriers to success
  • Highlight & Report issues regarding production/Quality/Health and safety
  • Support practical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives within your area. Ensure operators are working to best practice and safely at all times
  • Adhere to standardised work processes with supporting documentation
  • Monthly 6s Audits
  • Mentor and develop talent
  • Lead cross training activities
