Position Description

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Pipe Bender to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working with precision CNC pipe‑bending machinery to produce high‑quality components for our customers. If you have a strong mechanical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC pipe‑bending machines according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and measurement tools.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy, consistency, and output levels.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and report any issues.
• Work to production schedules and ensure targets are met.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimise workflows.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC bending or CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of tolerances, measurements, and quality standards.
• Competent using measurement tools (e.g., verniers, micrometers, gauges).
• Good communication skills and a reliable, teamwork‑focused attitude.
• Flexible and willing to support other areas of production when required
• Experience with tube/pipe bending in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Basic programming/editing knowledge of CNC machines.
• Forklift licence, overhead crane experience, or other relevant certifications.
