Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced CMS Developer - WordPress to own the development, performance and ongoing optimisation of our corporate website. You will manage the WordPress CMS end to end, build new templates and modules, extend or develop plugins when needed, and ensure the site remains fast, responsive and technically sound.

This role requires hands-on development expertise, excellent responsive design capability, strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of how CMS development supports marketing, SEO and conversion. You will build and iterate high-converting marketing landing pages (templates + page builds), continuously improve site performance, SEO hygiene, and security.

You will work closely with the Marketing team to deliver high-quality digital experiences that support our brand, product storytelling and lead-generation goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

CMS ownership and development

  • Develop, maintain and optimise the corporate website built on Wordpress
  • Extend existing plugins or develop custom modules to deliver bespoke functionality
  • Build new templates, components and site sections to support marketing efforts
  • Maintain CMS structure, global modules, reusable blocks and taxonomy for scalability
  • Manage updates, hosting environments, backups and general WordPress administration
  • Support content upload, updates and optimisation

Responsiveness and performance

  • Ensure flawless responsiveness across all screen sizes and devices
  • Improve Core Web Vitals including load speed, CLS and LCP
  • Optimise CSS, JavaScript, caching, media delivery and performance settings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve layout, rendering and responsiveness issues

Conversion-supporting development

  • Apply conversion-focused UX principles to templates and landing pages
  • Develop A/B test variants and support CRO initiatives
  • Implement tracking scripts, pixels and analytics integrations
  • Collaborate with Marketing to improve page performance and lead-generation outcomes
Security & reliability
  • Maintain security posture: plugin hygiene, role-based access, MFA enforcement, vulnerability patching
  • Manage environment release process, rollback plan

Technical SEO Support

  • Revise schema markup, structured data and SEO-friendly code
  • Support site architecture improvements and internal linking
  • Ensure technical SEO best practices are followed during development

Digital platform integrations

  • Connect WordPress with HubSpot, analytics, automation tools and tracking systems
  • Implement and maintain API or plugin integrations with CRM, marketing and event platforms
  • Ensure all pixels, scripts and tracking run reliably across environments
  • Support clean data capture, lead routing and workflow triggers through seamless integrations
