A leading hospitality provider in the UK is seeking a Club Receptionist. This role involves being the first point of contact for guests and members at the Aqua Club & Headland Spa, ensuring exceptional service. Candidates should have a background in leisure or spa environments, strong multitasking abilities, and familiarity with management software. The position is permanent with a 32-hour work week, offering various employee perks including discounted hotel stays and spa treatments.
The Role We have an exciting role available for a Club Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and members at all times and ensure a warm, memorable and personalised welcome to the Aqua Club & Headland Spa. The Aqua Club is our multi-million-pound leisure complex. Containing six pools, a sun terrace with impressive ocean views, and a stunning restaurant named The Deck.
As our Club Receptionist will work across both Reception desks in the Aqua Club and Headland Spa, greeting every guest with a smile and using your natural warmth to make every interaction memorable. You will know and understand what it means to deliver genuine hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding our guests and members expectations.
Organised and confident, you will demonstrate an ability to multitask in a busy but relaxed environment by the coast, whilst maintaining a proactive and passionate approach to guest care. At the Headland, we pride ourselves on our ‘one-team’ approach, therefore a team-work mindset will benefit you greatly in forming excellent relationships with both the Aqua Club, Spa and wider hotel team.
Our ideal Club Receptionist> will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a leisure/spa environment. Previous experience using Microsoft packages and spa/hotel management/booking software such as Maestro would be preferable, although full training will be given by our experienced team for those whose knowledge requires a little refresh. Previous Spa/Beauty Therapist experience would be a distinct advantage, as would good product knowledge of Elemis and Seabody but this is not essential.
This is a permanent position based on a 32-hour working week, working 4 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
