We are seeking dedicated and passionate Clinical Psychologists to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for clinicians who share strong professional values of trust, integrity, commitment and kindness, and who are committed to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based neurodevelopmental assessments.

About the Role: As an Associate Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults, working within NICE‑compliant frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive ASD developmental histories using NICE guideline‑compliant tools and approaches for children and adults.
  • Deliver ADHD assessments across child, young person and adult populations.
  • Undertake ADOS assessments where ADOS-2 trained (desirable).
  • Assess children and young people aged 3–18 years and adults aged 18+.
  • Observe and engage clients during assessment sessions, ensuring an age‑appropriate, respectful and compassionate approach.
  • Review ADOS reports, developmental histories and relevant collateral information from families, schools and other informants within the same assessment episode.
  • Formulate diagnostic conclusions and provide clear, compassionate feedback, including recommendations and signposting to local and national support services.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) within planned clinics and where additional information is required, including offering follow‑up sessions when necessary.
  • Produce high‑quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours of assessment, in line with DSM‑5 criteria and agreed report templates (administrative support provided for formatting and quality assurance).
  • Request onward referrals where clinically indicated, in line with local NHS Trust and ICB pathways.

Clinics & Working Arrangements: Up to four assessments per day, paid on a per‑assessment basis. £260 per assessment, self‑employed and outside IR35. Remote and/or face‑to‑face assessment opportunities available, depending on location. Flexible working days available Monday to Sunday, enabling you to work around existing commitments. Access to free CPD opportunities, training and peer‑to‑peer support.

What We’re Looking For
  • HCPC‑registered Clinical Psychologist.
  • Demonstrable expertise and confidence in ASD and ADHD assessments for children, young people and/or adults.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Conners, ADI‑R, DIVA‑5, CAARS and QBTest.
  • A clinician who consistently demonstrates trust, integrity, commitment and kindness.
  • A strong commitment to clinical excellence and best practice.
  • A specialist interest in neurodiversity.

  • Highly flexible working, with availability 7 days a week (subject to the Working Time Directive).
  • £260 per assessment, paid outside IR35.
  • Regular clinical supervision and opportunities to further develop assessment expertise.
  • Ongoing training opportunities.
  • Full administrative support for appointment scheduling and report preparation.
  • Free access to CPD sessions delivered by experienced clinicians.
  • A meaningful opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals and families navigating undiagnosed neurodiversity.
  • £100 – £110/hour
