The Client Account Manager – EMEA is responsible for the account management of existing key accounts in our Aftermarket division, with the objective to increase penetration within our client base. This role works closely with the Enterprise Sales Team to maximize our opportunities to close new business.

This role can be based from either the UK or Germany.

Job Role
  • Responsible for day‑to‑day communications, issue resolution and contracted deliverables for client and distributor accounts
  • Create and successfully implement regional customer account plans to meet annual sales and growth targets
  • Retain and grow existing direct customers and identify and execute upgrade opportunities working with the Enterprise Sales Team to closure
  • Contribute to the contract renewal and negotiation process for existing clients
  • Provide expertise in the product and services to ensure account owners gain a full understanding and benefit of the features and services
  • Identify opportunities for product and business improvement and provide feedback to relevant teams
  • Utilize SM Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all processes and procedures are completed
  • Effective use of CRM tools (Salesforce) to ensure accurate records
  • Plan and carry out responsibilities with autonomy and as part of a team
  • Attend company events and conferences

Due to the nature of the client base, some travel (domestic and international) will be required, and the role may require availability after hours on occasion.

About you
  • Undergraduate qualification in marketing, sales, or a related business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a client account manager, with contract management and negotiation experience.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client and channel partner relationships.
  • Experience in customer retention.
  • Desirable: Fluency in French, German, Turkish, or Spanish.
  • Experience working within the EMEA region with its different cultures.
  • Experience in industries like Automotive OEM, Public Transport, Supply Chain & Logistics, or Rail.
  • Experience working within the Fleet Management, Telematics, Fleet safety industries.
  • Experience with complex sales and long lead times.
  • B2B sales experience with senior buyers (OPS Director/CFO/COO).
  • Experience managing tiered sales structures with varying sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior customers.
